2019 – We made a trip to the Arctic Circle, where there were only 5 hours of daylight to try our luck to see the northern lights. It was a success.

Chicago was a place I called home for 5 years. I was surrounded by great architecture and met amazing people including my late best friend Patricia Pineda and my partner, Brad. We now live in Brooklyn.

We decided to visit Iceland a week after we tied the knot. It wasn’t our honeymoon but it sure felt like it - the landscape, volcanoes, glaciers - they were stunning and breathtaking.

Penang is one of my favorite cities in Malaysia - Georgetown is colorful, vibrant; the colonial architecture attract tourists from all over the world. The island is also known for its food.

A trip to London to visit my cousin, Daniel. It was a short yet sweet trip. I have plans to return to London in 2022.

Rome in 2013 - it was a great year to be in Rome. Pope Francis was elected to the papacy on March 13, 2013.

Patricia and I hit the road! We flew in from Chicago and NYC to Denver - we had an amazing time together. We took a road trip from Denver to Colorado then to Rocky Mountains and Red Rocks Amphitheater for a FREE concert. Patricia passed away in March 2021 due to cancer.

A family trip to Jackson/White Mountains during the middle of the pandemic - 2020. We visited my partner’s childhood vacation home and did a hike in the National Forest.
